PWSA changes for the 2026 minor ball season
At the recent Saugeen Shores Minor Ball Executive meeting, we reviewed feedback regarding the naming of our PWSA rep teams. It was noted that the previous "JR" and "SR" designations caused confusion and were interpreted in varying ways by players, parents, and coaches.To provide greater clarity and consistency moving forward, the Executive has decided to update the team names as follows:
🟨 "A" Team (formerly SR) — Gold Jerseys• ⬛ "B" Team (formerly JR) — Black Jerseys This change is intended to simplify team identification and ensure everyone has a clear understanding of team structure.Thank you to all who shared their feedback — your input continues to help us improve and grow our programs.— SSMBA Executive
