2026 Winter Development
Winter Development is open to age groups from 20##-20##. The coaches and volunteers focus on skills, agility, and overall development. The Winter Development program has been growing steadily and it gives the SSMBA players an opportunity to hone their skills and take their game to the next level. Our dedicated organizer and coaches' goal is to have the players ready to play as soon as the diamonds are available.
To be eligible to participate in the Winter Development program YOUR CHILD MUST BE REGISTERED WITH SSMBA.
If your child's birth year is between 2007 and 2018 he/she is eligible to participate.
The program runs from January ## - April ##, 2026.
If your child is a 2018 birth year the 7U program begins April ## and finishes April ##, 2026.  
This is a weekly program with the exception of PD days and holidays.
There are no refunds.  The fee is nominal and is used to purchase practice equipment for the Winter Development program.

Parent /Guardian Information

Winter Development will focus on hitting, batting, running and agility.
For this program to be a success volunteers are needed to take a lead role in your childs group.
Lead volunteers will be responsible for the set up and take down of equipment, as well as creating practice plans and organizing the group volunteers.
